Presidential Candidates Forum

Join the Black Economic Alliance on June 15, 2019 for its Presidential Candidates Forum moderated by award winning journalist, author, and executive producer Soledad O’Brien and broadcast by Black Entertainment Television (BET). This first-of-its-kind forum will feature several of the most high-profile Democratic presidential candidates at the historic Charleston Music Hall in Charleston, South Carolina. The candidates will specifically address how they would advance Work, Wages, and Wealth within the Black community. This forum will take place in front of an audience in South Carolina, a key early primary state and include stakeholders and local voters. Residents of South Carolina are invited to register for complimentary general admission tickets to the forum. This event will be open press.


The Black Economic Alliance Presidential Candidates Forum will anchor a weekend of events taking place from June 14-15th in Charleston. Participants will have the option of attending several events focusing on ensuring that Work, Wages, and Wealth in Black communities is a prominent part of the 2020 election cycle.
