As an Innovator, you will have the opportunity to influence the next generation of BEA by helping to grow our network and contributing to ongoing work to improve economic outcomes for Black Americans at scale. FAQ

We welcome supporters of all backgrounds to demonstrate their dedication to economic prosperity for Black Americans. All advocacy work requires community investment in real change, and the more who join our mission, the better.

The Innovator level requires an approved application before the implementation of benefits. However, all gifts at $25k and above automatically qualify you for benefits in the respective tier.

Those who have given at the $25k+ level within the past 12 months (or 24 months for $500k+) have been automatically slotted into their appropriate membership level. If you are unsure if you automatically qualified, please email BEA's Donor & Member Engagement Coordinator Miranda Feliciano Tyson at miranda.tyson@blackeconomicalliance.org with the name on your gift and any other identifying details with which the gift may be associated.

After confirmation of receipt of payment, we will add you to all email communications related to your specific benefits. You will receive all information on upcoming events, complimentary tickets, and BEA's signature programming via email. If you have a question about a specific benefit, please email BEA's Donor & Member Engagement Director Shari Thomas at shari.thomas@blackeconomicalliance.org.

Please email BEA's Donor & Member Engagement Coordinator Miranda Feliciano Tyson at miranda.tyson@blackeconomicalliance.org to coordinate your gift.

You are welcome to submit payment via a check or wire transfer. However, please be advised of the following:
  1. There will be a delay in the implementation of benefits until we have received and processed said check or wire transfer.
  2. As of this writing, we exclusively communicate with our members via email. If submitting a payment via check or wire transfer towards membership, please email BEA's Donor & Member Engagement Coordinator Miranda Feliciano Tyson at miranda.tyson@blackeconomicalliance.org to ensure your benefits are adequately communicated.

Yes! To coordinate benefits via a gift from a third party, please email BEA's Donor & Member Engagement Coordinator Miranda Feliciano Tyson at miranda.tyson@blackeconomicalliance.org with a copy of the receipt proving transfer via said third party. The application of benefits is not guaranteed if we do not receive these details.
